Professional Development for Educators that Matters
Time and time again when we speak with educators they ask for professional development that is (a) relevant (b) content focused (c) collaborative (d) incorporates active learning and (e) provides ongoing coaching, expert support and reflection. Ed Advantage is an educator owned company that believes in peer to peer participatory professional development. Our coaches are current educators that have proven their effectiveness inside and outside the classroom, in both urban and suburban school districts across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
We work with schools and districts to personalize professional development to meet the needs of their unique situation. We make a concerted effort to engage administrators and teachers in the professional development process utilizing surveys, focus groups, and one to one meetings (face to face or virtual) to gather real time feedback to drive professional learning. We believe every administrator and teacher is an expert and treat them as such. Our peer to peer participatory approach minimizes power imbalances between professional development coaches and participants that results in improved understanding in order to drive effective classroom instruction, school management, and district goals. The biggest investment every school district has is in its people; let's make sure they know we have their back and are listening.
